How do you hook the headset up to a xbox series X with the USB cord? I hear nothing. Is there a setting change required in the xbox series X?

I love the headset, but the microphone does not work when using the HyperX Virtual Surround Sound, only when using the 3.5 mm jack. I have the volume turned up; is there another driver I need to install (Windows 10 Pro PC)?
Hey Jim, Please update the firmware of the USB sound card using the link below, following all of the update instructions in the PDF: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BUR8K0mcqEWiCXFWjsV4b1VQnK9ve_O_/view?usp=sharing http://media.kingston.com/support/downloads/CloudII_FW_Update_0010-Update-instructions.pdf 0010 is in fact newer than 0030. It's a different firmware line with a different versioning scheme. Once the update is complete, you should be able to use the microphone over the USB connection. Please contact our support team directly if you encounter any further trouble.
